The 202, a new apartment development in Washington, DC, commissioned a large-scale bike trail map to highlight its proximity to the Metropolitan Branch Trail.
I conducted in-depth research on DC’s extensive network of bike trails, metro lines, and major roads, then synthesized this information into a cohesive, easy-to-navigate design. To complement the building’s interior aesthetic, I used the brand’s color palette and incorporated custom illustrative elements to create a warm, welcoming visual experience.
The final mural serves as both a practical tool for residents planning their rides and a vibrant focal point that enhances the building’s communal space.
